A Note from our Delta Theta Alumnae Chapter

This year, I founded the Palouse Birthday Initiative, a charity initiative that provides birthday kits to the food pantries in Moscow and across the Palouse with the goal of providing access to fun, memorable birthdays for children and families facing food insecurity. Our kits primarily go to the Moscow Food Bank, who serve roughly 150 families each week. Each kit costs about $10 to build, and contains everything needed to make and decorate and serve a birthday cake, as well as everything needed to decorate for a birthday party. Any donations truly help, and I’m so excited to share this initiative with you all during Hunger Action Month!
